Itinerary at a Glance
Arrival in Kigali
After arriving at the airport, the tour representative will greet and assist you. Then you will be transferred to your hotel.
Kigali City Tour | Ruhengeri
After breakfast, enjoy the Kigali city tour. You will take a visit to the museum, the craft center and the Genocide Memorial site.
Later you will drive to Ruhengeri for the Volcanoes National Park.
Gorilla Trekking | Volcanoes Park | Lake Kivu
Enjoy the Gorilla Trekking. The trek can take between two and six hours. You will have ample time during stops to rest and take pictures.
After the trek, your guide will transfer you to your lodge for lunch.
Later, enjoy a serene evening drive from the heart of the mountains to Lake Kivu Serena. Enjoy time at leisure and the various optional activities.
Nyungwe Forest National Park
Enjoy a scenic canopy walk through the Nyungwe Forest National Park before an exquisite dinner.
Nyungwe Forest National Park
You will return to Nyungwe Forest National Park again where you will trek the chimpanzees and observe the forest bird life.
After, enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a visit to the Tea plantation.
Return to Kigali | Huye | Final Departure
Enjoy your final day with optional leisure activities before your departure for Kigali.
You will stop at Huye to visit the workshop of the Tin Smith of Huye and the National Museum in Huye.
Lunch at Ibis Hotel.
Transfer to the airport for your final departure.
