Amazing Trip to Jordan

Itinerary at a Glance

Day 1 : Arrival at Queen Alia International Airport | Amman

Upon arrival at Queen Alia International Airport, you will be met by our English-speaking representative at the entrance of the terminal. He will take you through immigration, customs, and luggage collection. You will then be transported to the hotel in Amman for an overnight stay. And from Amman, it's time to begin your fantastic trip to Jordan.
 

Day 2 : Explore Amman | Madaba | Nebo | Kerak | Wadi Rum

After breakfast, journey to Madaba. This mosaic-filled city is located just 40 minutes south of Amman, on the Kings’ Highway. Next, visit the Greek Church of St. George, where you can see the 6Th century Map of the Holy Land.  Then proceed to Mt. Nebo–the site where Moses overlooked the Promised Land. Continue to Kerak where you can visit the castle of Kerak. Located on a craggy place 4,300 feet above sea level, it is one of the two major Crusader castles in Jordan. Then head to the camp in Wadi Rum for dinner and an overnight stay. 

Day 3 : Continue Your Journey to Wadi Rum

After breakfast at the Camp, you will begin hiking to view the lunar landscapes of the desert. En-route, walk on Um Fruth, a small rock-arch that rises about fifteen meters from the ground. Away from the tourist crowds, continue your journey south through two valleys: UM Muqur, then Wadi Nuqra, which have beautiful white sands and incredible rocks that are streaked with blue, pink, and white. Stop to enjoy the sunset with a cup of tea in a quiet corner off the beaten track of most travelers. Then have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Visiting Wadi Sabet – Umm Samin

After breakfast, continue your magnificent hike in the middle of red and ochre sandstone mounts. We will arrive at Wadi Sabet for lunch. Then head North, passing at the footprints of Um Sabatah massif. Then rest and enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 : Travel to Petra | The Dead Sea & Overnight

After breakfast you will be transported to Petra for a full-day excursion. Petra is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and has been inhabited since prehistoric times. This Nabatean caravan-city situated between The Dead sea and the Red Sea was an important crossroads between Arabia, Egypt, and Syria Phoenicia. Petra is half built, half carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains riddled with passage and gorges. It is one of the world’s most famous archaeological sites, where ancient Eastern traditions blend with Hellenistic architecture. You will then be transported to a hotel near the Dead Sea for dinner and an overnight stay.

 

Day 6 : Visit The Dead Sea | Bethany – Amman

After breakfast at the hotel, you will go see the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth at 1,306 feet (400 meters) below sea level. There you will have time swim and explore. groups can swim where it is impossible to sink; read a newspaper while lying on your back in the sea! In the afternoon you will continue to Bethany. This site is located on the Jordán River above the Dead Sea and is believed to be the site where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, and the home of the siblings Mary, Martha, and Lazarus. According to the Gospel of John, it is also the location where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. Then head to the hotel in Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.                                    

Day 7 : Tour to Amman City | Visit Jerash | Ajloun- Amman

After breakfast, head to the ruins of Amman’s Roman theatre, the Amman Citadel, the Umayyad Palace, and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. Next you will go to the north of Amman, to the ancient city of Jerash which boasts an unbroken chain of human civilization dating back more than 6,500 years. Then continue to Ajloun, a hilly town in northern Jordan. It is noted for its impressive ruins of the 12th century castle which known as Ajloun Castle. The Ajloun Governorate has a population of over 130,000 people spread out in twenty-seven villages and towns. Then return to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Final Departure | Pick-up from the hotel | Transfer to Queen Alia Airport

Sadly, it's the end of your trip to Jordan. After breakfast, proceed to the Amman International Airport for departure.
